The Nevada Open Records Act (NRS Chapter 239) provides definitions and exemptions for public records, defines the rights and responsibilities of the relevant agencies as well as the public in regards to the treatment and fulfillment of records and records requests. 

Records requests should be addressed to the appropriate agency. It is highly recommended that all requests be made in writing. Certain fees may apply.
